About Us

A Brief History
Herald Square 1936

Micronite was founded in New York on September 23, 1986 by two brothers, Razzaq and Yousuf Lodhia, during the early years of the personal computer era.

The company's initial mission was to provide computer programming services and develop its own line of software products.

With the introduction of Microsoft Windows and IBM OS/2, Micronite quickly became a pioneer in designing and developing software applications with easy-to-use graphical user interfaces which were replacing the old-style, text-based command line interfaces.

At the beginning of the 1990s, Micronite moved out West to California and established its headquarters in Silicon Valley, the epicenter of the high-technology industry.

The rise of the Internet gave birth to Cloud Computing and Software as a Service (SaaS), a new model for deploying software as a hosted service and accessing it over the Internet. Once again, Micronite was at the forefront, architecting and building enterprise-level Web Services for processing millions of online transactions.

Today, Micronite remains a privately held corporation based in Roseville, California, continuing its mission of developing innovative and pragmatic software solutions for meeting tomorrow's technology challenges.
